AN ACT
1 Authorizing special license plates in honor of the Nation's
2 bicentennial.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The Department of Transportation shall issue
6 special license plates in honor of the Nation's bicentennial.
7 (b) The license plates for the two hundredth anniversary of
8 our country's independence shall be red, white and blue. The
9 design of the plate shall be the responsibility of the
10 Department of Transportation.
11 (c) The special plates shall be issued prior to March 31,
12 1976, and will replace the regular license plates for a period
13 of time to be determined by the Department of Transportation.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
