AN ACT
1 Relating to the manufacture, sale and possession of certain
2 camping equipment; and providing a penalty.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. No person shall manufacture, distribute, sell,
6 exchange or deliver, or have in his possession with intent to
7 distribute, sell, exchange or deliver any tent, tarpaulin,
8 sleeping bag, blanket, cot or similar equipment used for camping
9 purposes containing any material which is not classified as
10 relatively slow burning by the Department of Labor and Industry.
11 Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this act,
12 shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding, be
13 sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $1,000 and costs for each
14 such violation.
15 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
