AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Agriculture for the
2 use of the Weather Modification Board.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $25,000, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of
7 Agriculture for the use of the Weather Modification Board solely
8 to pay expenses in connection with hearings to determine who is
9 cloud-seeding under the provisions of the act of January 19,
10 1968 (P.L.1024, No.449), referred to as the Weather Modification
11 Act. For any such hearing it may use its subpoena powers
12 pursuant to section 520 of The Administrative Code of 1929.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
