                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Department of Property and Supplies, with
     2     approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation,
     3     to sell and convey certain lots or tracts of ground with
     4     improvements thereon situate in the Borough of Tarentum,
     5     Allegheny County.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The Department of Property and Supplies, with the
     9  approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation, is
    10  hereby authorized on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    11  to sell, at public sale, to the highest bidder and convey all of
    12  the following described tracts of land with any improvements
    13  thereon situate in the Borough of Tarentum, County of Allegheny,
    14  in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
    15                            Tract No. 1
    16     All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the
    17  Borough of Tarentum, County of Allegheny, in the Commonwealth of
    18  Pennsylvania, being part of Lots Nos. 23 and 24 in the Wood and
    19  Stewart Plan, recorded in Recorder's Office of Allegheny County
    20  in Plan Book Volume 20, Page 11, bounded and described as

     1  follows, to wit:
     2     Beginning on the westerly side of Wood Street at a point 53.2
     3  feet south of the intersection of the westerly line of Wood
     4  Street with the southerly line of North Alley; thence
     5  southwardly along the westerly side of Wood Street 50 feet to a
     6  point; thence westwardly and parallel to the dividing line
     7  between Lots Nos. 22 and 23, 150 feet to the easterly side of
     8  Locust Alley; thence northwardly along the easterly side of
     9  Locust Alley, 50 feet to a point; thence eastwardly parallel to
    10  the dividing line between Lots Nos. 22 and 23, 150 feet to the
    11  westerly side of Wood Street at the place of beginning.
    12     Having erected thereon a one and one-half story dwelling.
    13     Being the same premises conveyed to the Commonwealth of
    14  Pennsylvania by deed of Peoples Federal Savings and Loan
    15  Association of Tarentum Borough, dated November 4, 1969, and
    16  recorded January 19, 1970, in Deed Book 4813, Page 48.
    17                            Tract No. 2
    18     All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the first
    19  ward of the Borough of Tarentum, County of Allegheny and State
    20  of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows, to wit:
    21     Beginning at a point at the northeasterly corner of East
    22  Tenth Avenue and a 15 foot alley, said point being 230 feet
    23  west, along the northerly line of East Tenth Avenue from the
    24  northwesterly corner of East Tenth Avenue and Ross Street;
    25  thence in a northerly direction, along the westerly line of said
    26  15 foot alley, a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point
    27  on the southerly line of Evans Street; thence in an easterly
    28  direction along the southerly line of Evans Street, a distance
    29  of 24.8 feet to a point; thence in a southerly direction, by a
    30  line parallel with the easterly line of said 15 foot alley, a

     1  distance of 104.5 feet, more or less, to a point on the
     2  northerly line of East Tenth Avenue; thence in a westerly
     3  direction, along the northerly line of East Tenth Avenue, a
     4  distance of 24.2 feet, more or less, to a point at the
     5  northeasterly corner of East Tenth Avenue and said 15 foot
     6  alley, the place of beginning.
     7     Being the same premises conveyed to the Commonwealth of
     8  Pennsylvania by deed of Andrew Louis Boda and Betty Jane Boda,
     9  his wife, dated September 3, 1968, and recorded on October 4,
    10  1968, in Deed Book 4611, Page 513.
    11     These conveyances shall be made under and subject,
    12  nevertheless, to all easements, servitudes and rights of others,
    13  including, but not confined to streets, roadways and rights of
    14  any telephone, telegraph, water, electric, gas or pipeline
    15  companies, as well as under and subject, nevertheless, to any
    16  estate or tenancies vested in third persons, whether or not
    17  appearing of record, for any portion of the said land or
    18  improvements erected thereon.
    19     Section 2.  The Deeds of Conveyance shall be approved by the
    20  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
    21  Property and Supplies in the name of the Commonwealth of
    22  Pennsylvania.
    23     Section 3.  All moneys received from the sale of the lands
    24  herein authorized to be conveyed shall be deposited in the Motor
    25  License Fund.
    26     Section 4.  This act shall take effect immediately.
