           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, MARCH 25, 1974

                                     AN ACT

     1  Selecting, designating and adopting the firefly as the official
     2     insect of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The firefly (Lampyridae) (PHOTURIS PENNSYLVANICA)  <--
     6  is hereby selected, designated and adopted as the official
     7  insect of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
