AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation from the Motor License Fund for
2 allocation to the Office of the Governor, the State
3 Treasurer, and to Motor License Fund administrative
4 departments, boards and commissions and other agencies under
5 the jurisdiction of the Governor and imposing duties on the
6 Governor with respect to making allocations thereof to
7 provide for special salary or wage increases for State
8 employes.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. The sum of ten million dollars ($10,000,000), <--
12 FOURTEEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS <--
13 ($14,442,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby
14 appropriated from the Motor License Fund and allocated to the
15 Office of the Governor, the State Treasurer and to Motor License
16 Fund administrative departments, boards and commissions and
17 other agencies which are part of the executive branch of the
18 State Government for the purpose of providing funds for general
19 salary or wage and benefits increases for the fiscal year 1973-
20 1974 for State employes in such offices, departments, boards,
1 commissions and other agencies.
2 Section 2. The Governor shall provide a plan and make
3 allocations from this appropriation to the various offices,
4 departments or agencies for the 1973-1974 fiscal year in such
5 amounts as may be necessary to provide funds for general salary
6 or wage and benefits increases for State employes in such
7 offices, departments or agencies.
8 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1973.
