AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 7, 1972 (No.17-A), entitled "An act to
2 provide for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and
3 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and
4 for the public schools for the fiscal year July 1, 1972 to
5 June 30, 1973, and for the payment of bills incurred and
6 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending
7 June 30, 1972," increasing an appropriation to the Department
8 of Transportation.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. As much as relates to the appropriation to the
12 Department of Transportation for urban mass transportation
13 assistance in section 2, act of July 7, 1972 (No.17-A), known as
14 "The General Appropriation Act of 1972," is amended to read:
15 Section 2. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be
16 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General
17 Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive,
18 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the
19 payment of the salaries, wages or other compensation and travel
20 expense of the duly elected or appointed officers and employes
1 of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees of contractual services
2 rendered, for the purchase or rental of goods, services,
3 printing, equipment, land and buildings and for payment of any
4 other expenses, as provided by law or by this act, necessary for
5 the proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities and
6 for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal year
7 beginning July 1, 1972, and for the payment of bills incurred
8 and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending
9 June 30, 1972.
