        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, JUNE 24, 1974

                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Department of Property and Supplies, with
     2     approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation,
     3     to sell and convey a certain lot or tract of ground with
     4     improvements thereon situate in the Township of Hellam, York
     5     County.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The Department of Property and Supplies, with the
     9  approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation, is
    10  hereby authorized on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    11  to sell, at public sale, to the highest bidder and convey all of
    12  the following described tract of land with any improvements
    13  thereon situate in the Township of Hellam, County of York, in
    14  the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania:
    15     Beginning at an iron pipe at corner of lands formerly of H.    <--
    16  S. Dietz, now of Paul J. Binder; thence extending North 75
    17  degrees 49 minutes West crossing Kreutz Creek and Legislative
    18  Route #66019, 120 feet to a spike in a private driveway near the
    19  West side of Legislative Route #66019; thence extending in and


     1  through said private driveway and along lands of John N. Ream
     2  and Maude E. Ream, his wife, the following 3 courses and
     3  distances: (1)  North 27 degrees 49 minutes West 62 feet to a
     4  spike; (2)  North 65 degrees 19 minutes West 50 feet to a spike;
     5  and (3)  South 77 degrees 13 minutes West 64 feet to an iron
     6  pipe, being also a corner of lands of Samuel C. Cornwall and
     7  Adele M. Cornwall, his wife; thence extending along lands of
     8  Samuel C. Cornwall and Adele M. Cornwall, his wife, the 2
     9  following courses and distances: (1)  South 2 degrees 30 minutes
    10  20 seconds West 210 feet to an iron pipe; and (2)  South 16
    11  degrees 53 minutes 40 seconds East 110.98 feet to an iron pipe;
    12  thence extending along lands now or formerly of J. Alfred Harre
    13  and re-crossing Legislative Route #66019 and Kreutz Creek, North
    14  80 degrees 9 minutes 10 seconds East 191.62 feet to a stone;
    15  thence extending along lands formerly of H. S. Dietz, now of
    16  Paul J. Binder, North 10 degrees 30 minutes East 166.12 feet to
    17  the iron pipe at the place of beginning.
    18     BEGINNING AT A SPIKE AT CORNER OF LANDS OF JOHN H. REAM AND    <--
    19  MAUDE E. REAM, HIS WIFE; THENCE EXTENDING ALONG THE LEGAL RIGHT-
    20  OF-WAY LINE FOR LEGISLATIVE ROUTE NO. 66019 EXISTING, THE
    21  FOLLOWING THREE COURSES AND DISTANCES:  (1) SOUTH 12 DEGREES 42
    22  MINUTES WEST, 59.41 FEET; (2) SOUTH 3 DEGREES 5 MINUTES WEST,
    23  73.99 FEET; AND (3) SOUTH 3 DEGREES 19 MINUTES EAST, 57.20 FEET;
    24  THENCE SOUTH 7 DEGREES 6 MINUTES WEST ALONG THE LEGAL RIGHT-OF-
    25  WAY LINE FOR LEGISLATIVE ROUTE NO. 66019 RELOCATED, 43.40 FEET
    26  TO A HUB; THENCE EXTENDING ALONG LANDS NOW OR FORMERLY OF
    27  CHARLES FAHRINGER AND EVELYN FAHRINGER, HIS WIFE, SOUTH 73
    28  DEGREES 20 MINUTES 30 SECONDS WEST, 60.02 FEET TO AN IRON PIPE;
    29  THENCE EXTENDING ALONG LANDS NOW OR FORMERLY OF SAMUEL C.
    30  CORNWALL AND ADELE M. CORNWALL, HIS WIFE, THE FOLLOWING TWO

     1  COURSES AND DISTANCES:  (1) NORTH 23 DEGREES 42 MINUTES 30
     2  SECONDS WEST, 111.50 FEET TO AN IRON PIPE; AND (2) NORTH 4
     3  DEGREES 59 MINUTES 33.7 SECONDS WEST, 210.22 FEET TO AN IRON
     4  PIPE; THENCE EXTENDING IN AND THROUGH A PRIVATE DRIVEWAY AND
     5  ALONG LANDS OF JOHN H. REAM AND MAUDE E. REAM, HIS WIFE, THE
     6  FOLLOWING THREE COURSES AND DISTANCES:  (1) NORTH 77 DEGREES 13
     7  MINUTES EAST, 64.00 FEET TO A SPIKE; (2) SOUTH 65 DEGREES 19
     8  MINUTES EAST, 50.00 FEET TO A SPIKE; AND (3) SOUTH 27 DEGREES 49
     9  MINUTES EAST, 62.00 FEET TO A SPIKE; THENCE ALONG THE SAME
    10  PROPERTY OF JOHN H. REAM AND MAUDE E. REAM, HIS WIFE, SOUTH 75
    11  DEGREES 49 MINUTES EAST, 3.04 FEET TO A SPIKE AT THE PLACE OF
    12  BEGINNING, CONTAINING 0.757 ACRES.
    13     Being the same premises conveyed to the Commonwealth of
    14  Pennsylvania by deed of Guy A. Conover and Janet C. Conover, his
    15  wife, dated January 19, 1972, and recorded February 8, 1972, in
    16  the Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book 64-Z, Page 517.
    17     This conveyance shall be made under and subject,
    18  nevertheless, to all easements, servitudes, and rights of
    19  others, including, but not confined to streets, roadways, and
    20  rights of any telephone, telegraph, water, electric, gas or pipe
    21  line companies, as well as under and subject, nevertheless, to
    22  any estate, or tenancies vested in third persons, whether or not
    23  appearing of record, for any portion of the said land or
    24  improvements erected thereon.
    25     Section 2.  The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the
    26  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
    27  Property and Supplies in the name of the Commonwealth of
    28  Pennsylvania.
    29     Section 3.  All moneys received from the sale of the lands
    30  herein authorized to be conveyed shall be deposited in the Motor

     1  License Fund.
     2     Section 4.  This act shall take effect immediately.
