AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to the Trustees of Drexel University of
2 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia,
3 Pennsylvania.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of two million one hundred four thousand
7 dollars ($2,104,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is
8 hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees of Drexel
9 University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia,
10 Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1973 to June 30, 1974,
11 for net costs of instruction.
12 Section 2. The sum of seven hundred ninety-seven thousand
13 dollars ($797,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is
14 hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees of Drexel
15 University of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia,
16 Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1973 to June 30, 1974,
17 for net costs of student aid.
18 Section 3. Payments to Drexel University, Philadelphia,
19 Pennsylvania on account of the appropriations for the items
1 provided in sections 1 and 2 of this act shall be made on the
2 basis of net costs during the fiscal year.
3 Section 4. Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
4 shall report its revenues and expenditures and present its
5 financial statements in accordance with generally accepted
6 accounting principles and procedures for educational
7 institutions as set forth in "College and University Business
8 Administration" of the American Council of Education, revised
9 edition, 1968, without exception.
10 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1973.
