AN ACT
1 Providing for the observance of the third Sunday in May of each
2 year as Senior Citizens' Day.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The Governor shall issue, annually, his
6 proclamation designating and setting apart the third Sunday in
7 May as Senior Citizens' Day and calling upon the citizens of
8 this Commonwealth to pay special tribute and recognition to our
9 mature citizens whose energetic and useful lives have
10 contributed and continue to contribute so much to the progress
11 of our communities.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
