AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of Property and Supplies, with the
2 approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation,
3 to sell and convey to Charles L. Matter, II, a tract of land
4 located in the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The Department of Property and Supplies, with the
8 approval of the Governor and the Secretary of Transportation, is
9 hereby authorized on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
10 to convey to Charles L. Matter, II, for such consideration as an
11 independent appraisal obtained through the Department of
12 Property and Supplies shall determine and the Attorney General
13 shall approve, the following tract of land situate in the Tenth
14 Ward of the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania,
15 described as follows:
16 Beginning at an iron pin on the eastern line of Walker Street
17 at the center of a former 16 foot alley said iron pin being
18 110.00 feet south of the intersection of the eastern line of
19 Walker Street and the southern line of Dix Street; thence south
1 86 degrees 48 minutes east 90.00 feet along the center line of
2 said alley to an iron pin; thence south 4 degrees west 58.50
3 feet to an iron pin both lines being common to the adjoining
4 property of Charles L. Matter, II, et ux; then north 53 degrees
5 32 minutes 24 seconds west 106.65 feet to the point of
6 beginning, containing .06 acres.
7 Section 2. The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the
8 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Department of
9 Property and Supplies in the name of the Commonwealth of
10 Pennsylvania.
11 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
