AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation out of the Motor License Fund to the
2 Treasury Department for refunding certain taxes to which the
3 Commonwealth is not entitled.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of two million dollars ($2,000,000), or
7 as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out
8 of the Motor License Fund to the Treasury Department for the
9 fiscal year July 1, 1972 to June 30, 1973 for the payment of
10 approved claims for the refunding of Liquid Fuels Taxes and Fuel
11 Use Taxes collected from municipal authorities WHICH ARE EXEMPT <--
12 FROM PAYMENT OF THE LIQUID FUELS TAXES AND FUEL USE TAXES.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
