AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to the Trustees of Drexel Institute of
2 Technology of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at
3 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to meet the institute and library
4 school deficits for the 1970-71 fiscal year.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The sum of one million one hundred thirty-nine
8 thousand dollars ($1,139,000), or as much thereof as may be
9 necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees
10 of Drexel Institute of Technology of the Commonwealth of
11 Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to meet the
12 institute deficit caused by the failure to make the full
13 appropriation in 1970-71 because of insufficient revenues, for
14 the general maintenance of the institute and the purchase of
15 such apparatus and equipment as the trustees may deem necessary
16 for the best interests of the institute.
17 Section 2. The sum of seventy-five thousand dollars
18 ($75,000), or as much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby
19 specifically appropriated to the Trustees of Drexel Institute of
1 Technology of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia,
2 Pennsylvania, to meet the library school deficit caused by the
3 failure to make the full appropriation in 1970-71 because of
4 insufficient revenues, for the library school.
5 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1971.
