AN ACT
1 Requiring notification to the natural parents or parent of a
2 child placed voluntarily under foster care whenever such
3 child is admitted to a hospital in certain cases.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Whenever any child, voluntarily placed under
7 foster care by the natural parent or parents, is admitted to a
8 hospital while under such foster care, it shall be the duty of
9 the admitting hospital PLACEMENT AGENCY to notify the natural <--
10 parents or parent of such child of such admission, unless, in
11 the opinion of the medical consultant, PLACEMENT AGENCY, such <--
12 disclosure would be detrimental to the mental stability of the
13 natural parents or parent, OR CHILD. <--
