                                     AN ACT

     1  Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Art,
     2     Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The sum of $466,000, or as much thereof as may be
     6  necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
     7  Philadelphia College of Art, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for its
     8  fiscal period July 1, 1980 to June 31, 1981, for instruction and
     9  student aid.
    10     Section 2.  Payments to the Philadelphia College of Art, on
    11  account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be made
    12  by the Secretary of Education on the basis of costs during the
    13  fiscal period.
    14     Section 3.  The college shall provide such information and in
    15  such form and manner as the Department of Education may
    16  prescribe.
    17     Section 4.  The Philadelphia College of Art shall report its


     1  revenues and expenditures and present its financial statement in
     2  accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and
     3  procedures for educational institutions as set forth in the
     4  "Higher Education Finance Manual of 1975," without exception.
     5     Section 5.  All sums of money paid to the Philadelphia
     6  College of Art pursuant to the appropriation of the act of July
     7  11, 1980 (No.42A), entitled, "An act making an appropriation to
     8  the Philadelphia College of Art, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,"
     9  shall be credited toward and deducted from the amount
    10  appropriated in this act.
    11     Section 6.  The act of July 11, 1980 (No.42A), entitled "An
    12  act making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of Art,
    13  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania," is repealed.
    14     Section 7.  This act shall take effect immediately.
