AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for imposition of liquid fuels
3 and fuels tax.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 9004 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 9004. Imposition of tax, exemptions and deductions.
9 * * *
10 (i) Temporary reduction of tax.--The tax imposed and
11 assessed under subsection (a) shall be reduced from 12¢ to 8
12 1/2¢ for one year commencing on the effective date of this
13 subsection.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
