| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting fraud on marriage license |
3 | application. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
7 | Statutes is amended by adding a section to read: |
8 | § 1311. Fraud on marriage license application. |
9 | Any applicant who commits fraud on a marriage license |
10 | application shall relinquish any right to alimony, spousal |
11 | support or property rights in the event of annulment or divorce |
12 | based upon the discovery of fraud. |
13 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
