AN ACT
1 Designating a certain portion of U.S. Route 1 in Bucks County as
2 the Martin Luther King, Jr., Expressway.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Designation.
6 That portion of the U.S. Route 1 Expressway (Legislative
7 Route No. 281) from the interchange with the Pennsylvania
8 Turnpike in Bensalem Township to the interchange of U.S. Route 1
9 at the State boundary with New Jersey shall hereafter be known
10 as the Martin Luther King, Jr., Expressway.
11 Section 2. Appropriate signs.
12 The Department of Transportation shall erect the appropriate
13 signs to indicate this highway designation to the motoring
14 public.
15 Section 3. Effective date.
16 This act shall take effect immediately.
