AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting the procuring of children
3 for the purpose of sexual exploitation; and imposing a
4 penalty.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
9 § 6315. Sexual exploitation of children.
10 (a) Offense defined.--A person commits the offense of sexual
11 exploitation of children if he procures for another person a
12 child under 18 years of age for the purpose of sexual
13 exploitation.
14 (b) Penalty.--An offense under this section is a felony of
15 the second degree.
16 (c) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following
17 words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this
18 subsection:
1 "Procure." To obtain or make available for sexual
2 exploitation.
3 "Sexual exploitation." Actual or simulated sexual activity,
4 and nudity if nudity is arranged for the purpose of sexual
5 stimulation or gratification of any person.
6 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
