AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the assignment of points.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 1535(c) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 1535. Schedule of convictions and points.

9 (c) No points after six months.--The department shall assign
10 points to the record of any person within six months from the
11 date of a final conviction. Any points assigned after such six-
12 month period shall be null and void. The department may not
13 assign any points to a driver's record until after the period to
14 file an appeal of the conviction has expired and, if an appeal
15 is filed, an adjudication on the appeal is final.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
