AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for multiple war veteran plate.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 1361. Multiple war veteran plate.
8 Upon application of any person who is a veteran of all of the
9 following wars: World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam
10 Conflict, accompanied by a fee of $20 and by such documentation
11 as the department shall require, the department shall issue to
12 such person a special registration plate designating the vehicle
13 so registered as belonging to a person who is a veteran of all
14 of those three wars. The special registration plate may be used
15 only on one passenger vehicle or one other vehicle with a gross
16 weight of not more than 9,000 pounds.
17 Section 2. Section 1901(c) of Title 75 is amended by adding
1 a paragraph to read:
2 § 1901. Exemption of persons, entities and vehicles from fees.

4 (c) Processing fee in lieu of registration fee.--No
5 registration fee shall be charged for vehicles registered by any
6 of the following but the department shall charge a fee of $10 to
7 cover the costs of processing for issuing or renewing the
8 registration:

10 (24) Any veteran who served in all of the following
11 wars: World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict.

13 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
