AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for exceptions to vehicle
3 registration and inspection requirements.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 1302 of Title 75, act
7 of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
8 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is amended by adding a
9 paragraph to read:
10 § 1302. Vehicles exempt from registration.
11 (a) General rule.--The following types of vehicles are
12 exempt from registration:

14 (12) Any military vehicle used for training by a private
15 nonprofit, tax exempt military educational institution when
16 such vehicle does not travel on public roads in excess of one
17 mile and the property on both sides of the public road is
18 owned by the institution.

2 Section 2. Subsection (b) of section 4703 of Title 75 is
3 amended by adding a paragraph to read:
4 § 4703. Operation of vehicle without official certificate of
5 inspection.

7 (b) Exceptions.--Subsection (a) does not apply to:

9 (9) Any military vehicle used for training by a private,
10 nonprofit, tax exempt military educational institution when
