AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia Association of
2 Retarded Citizens.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $200,000 is hereby appropriated to the
6 Philadelphia Association of Retarded Citizens, for the fiscal
7 year July 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998, for services. Payment of
8 this appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Public
9 Welfare in equal quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The Philadelphia Association of Retarded Citizens
11 shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
12 required by the Department of Public Welfare or the majority
13 chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
14 Committee of the Senate or the majority chairman or the minority
15 chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the House of
16 Representatives.
17 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1997, or
1 immediately, whichever is later.
