A SUPPLEMENT
1 To the act of June 29, 1996 (P.L. , No.1A), entitled "An act
2 to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the
3 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the
4 Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for
5 the fiscal year July 1, 1996, to June 30, 1997, for certain
6 institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills
7 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year
8 ending June 30, 1996; to provide appropriations from the
9 State Lottery Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance
10 Fund, the Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores
11 Fund, the Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust
12 Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the Ben
13 Franklin/IRC Partnership Fund, the Tuition Payment Fund and
14 the Banking Department Fund to the Executive Department; to
15 provide appropriations from the Judicial Computer System
16 Augmentation Account to the Judicial Department; to provide
17 appropriations from the Motor License Fund for the fiscal
18 year July 1, 1996, to June 30, 1997, for the proper operation
19 of the several departments of the Commonwealth and the
20 Pennsylvania State Police authorized to spend Motor License
21 Fund moneys; to provide for the appropriation of Federal
22 funds to the Executive and Judicial Departments of the
23 Commonwealth and for the establishment of restricted receipt
24 accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 1996, to June 30, 1997,
25 and for the payment of bills remaining unpaid at the close of
26 the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996; to provide for the
27 additional appropriation of State and Federal funds for the
28 Executive and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for
29 the fiscal year July 1, 1995, to June 30, 1996, and for the
30 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close
31 of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1995," making an
1 appropriation to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency for
2 Homeowner's Emergency Mortgage Assistance.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The following sum, or as much thereof as may be
6 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Pennsylvania Housing
7 Finance Agency for the fiscal year July 1, 1996, to June 30,
8 1997, for the purpose of transfer to the Pennsylvania Housing
9 Finance Agency for the Homeowner's Emergency Mortgage Assistance
10 Program.

12 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
