                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring that all poles used to display the flag of the United
     2     States or of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be
     3     manufactured of nonconductive material of suitable strength
     4     for purposes of flag display.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7  Section 1.  Composition of flag poles.
     8     After the effective date of this act, all poles which are
     9  sold in this Commonwealth for purposes of displaying the flag of
    10  the United States or of this Commonwealth shall be manufactured
    11  of nonconductive materials of suitable strength.
    12  Section 2.  Effective date.
    13     This act shall take effect January 1, 1991.
