| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Making an appropriation to the Franklin Institute Science Museum |
2 | for maintenance expenses. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. The sum of $342,000 is hereby appropriated to the |
6 | Franklin Institute Science Museum, Philadelphia, for the fiscal |
7 | year July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, for the maintenance of the |
8 | institute. No part of this appropriation shall be used in |
9 | support of the institute's research laboratories. |
10 | Section 2. Payments to the Franklin Institute Science Museum |
11 | on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be |
12 | made quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania |
13 | Historical and Museum Commission. |
14 | Section 3. The Franklin Institute Science Museum shall |
15 | provide full, complete and accurate information as may be |
16 | required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or |
17 | the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations |
18 | Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman |

1 | of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives. |
2 | Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2010, or |
3 | immediately, whichever is later. |
