AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further defining "school bus."
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The definition of "school bus" in section 102 of
6 Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to
7 read:
8 § 102. Definitions.
9 Subject to additional definitions contained in subsequent
10 provisions of this title which are applicable to specific
11 provisions of this title, the following words and phrases when
12 used in this title shall have, unless the context clearly
13 indicates otherwise, the meanings given to them in this section:

15 "School bus." A motor vehicle designed for carrying more
16 than ten passengers, exclusive of the driver, which complies
17 with the color and lighting identification requirements of
1 section 4552 (relating to general requirements for school
2 buses).

4 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
