AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
2 approval of the Governor, to grant a water line right-of-way
3 in Penn Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The Department of General Services with the
7 approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the
8 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to grant the following water line
9 right-of-way to the Penn Township Municipal Authority of
10 Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, for a consideration of two no-cost
11 tap ins to the water line for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
12 and/or the successor holders of title for the property traversed
13 by the right-of-way. The water line right-of-way is bounded and
14 described as follows:
15 BEING a strip of ground of variable width, contiguous with
16 the eastern right-of-way of S.R. 1011 through lands of the
17 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. More accurately described as
18 follows:
1 BEGINNING AT A POINT, said point being on the eastern right-
2 of-way S.R. 1011 at the intersection with the southern line of
3 lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
4 THENCE, along the eastern right-of-way of S.R. 1011 (16.5
5 feet from centerline) by the seven (7) following courses and
6 distances,
7 1.) North 37 degrees 28 minutes 35 seconds West, 38.16 feet
8 to a point;
9 2.) Along a curve to the left with a radius of 1311.50 feet,
10 a central angle of 13 degrees 41 minutes 33 seconds, along the
11 arc of said curve for a distance of 313.42 feet, the long chord
12 of which bears North 44 degrees 17 minutes 21 seconds West for a
13 distance of 312.68 feet, to a point;
14 3.) North 51 degrees 08 minutes 08 seconds West, 1109.21
15 feet to a point;
16 4.) Along a curve to the right with a radius of 1014.59
17 feet, a central angle of 14 degrees 13 minutes 44 seconds, along
18 the arc of said curve for a distance of 251.96 feet, the long
19 chord of which bears North 44 degrees 01 minute 17 seconds West
20 for a distance of 251.32 feet, to a point;
21 5.) North 36 degrees 54 minutes 25 seconds West, 463.39 feet
22 to a point;
23 6.) North 35 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds West, 135.17 feet
24 to a point;
25 7.) Along a curve to the right with a radius of 50.00 feet,
26 a central angle of 79 degrees 47 minutes 33 seconds, along the
27 arc of said curve for a distance of 69.63 feet, the long chord
28 of which bears North 03 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds West for a
29 distance of 64.14 feet, to a point on the southern right-of-way
30 of S.R. 522;

1 THENCE, through lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the
2 nine (9) following courses and distances;
3 1.) Along a curve to the left with a radius of 185.00 feet,
4 a central angle of 30 degrees 34 minutes 36 seconds, along the
5 arc of said curve for a distance of 98.73 feet, the long chord
6 of which bears South 19 degrees 41 minutes 25 seconds East for a
7 distance of 97.56 feet, to a point;
8 2.) South 34 degrees 58 minutes 43 seconds East, 92.84 feet
9 to a point;
10 3.) South 37 degrees 34 minutes 32 seconds east, 461.11 feet
11 to a point;
12 4.) Along a curve to the left with a radius of 1138.04 feet,
13 a central angle of 12 degrees 27 minutes 04 seconds, along the
14 arc of said curve for a distance of 247.31 feet, the long chord
15 of which bears South 43 degrees 48 minutes 05 seconds East for a
16 distance of 246.82 feet to a point;
17 5.) South 51 degrees 12 minutes 20 seconds East, 525.38 feet
18 to a point;
19 6.) South 50 degrees 50 minutes 54 seconds East, 583.83 feet
20 to a point;
21 7.) Along a curve to the right with a radius of 939.82 feet,
22 a central angle of 19 degrees 21 minutes 30 seconds, along the
23 arc of said curve for a distance of 317.53 feet, the long chord
24 of which bears South 43 degrees 47 minutes 27 seconds East for a
25 distance of 316.03 feet, to a point;
26 8.) South 37 degrees 02 minutes 46 seconds East, 18.45 feet,
27 to a point;
28 9.) South 05 degrees 06 minutes 28 seconds East, 23.33 feet,
29 to the point of beginning.
30 CONTAINING 0.91 Acres (39,822 Sq. Ft.)

1 Section 2. The right-of-way agreement shall have a clause
2 that requires the grantee to design and install the water line
3 in a manner that in no way hinders the use of the surface of the
4 right-of-way by the Commonwealth and/or successor holders of
5 title for the property for paved or unpaved parking lots and/or
6 paved or unpaved entrances to the property from S.R. 1011.
7 Section 3. The right-of-way agreement shall be approved as
8 provided by law and shall be executed by the Secretary of
9 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
10 Pennsylvania.
11 Section 4. Costs and fees incidental to this conveyance
12 shall be borne by the grantee.
13 Section 5. This act shall not be construed to relieve the
14 grantee from complying with the requirements of the act of
15 December 10, 1974 (P.L.852, No.287), referred to as the
16 Underground Utility Line Protection Law, nor to authorize any
17 impairment of preexisting property rights.
18 Section 6. This act shall take effect immediately.
