AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, requiring proof of insurance for the issuance of an
3 inspection sticker.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4727 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 4727. Issuance of certificate of inspection.

10 (d) Proof of insurance.--No certificate of inspection shall
11 be issued unless proper proof of the insurance required by law
12 is submitted to the inspection station, which shall keep a
13 record of the name of the insured, the issuing company, the
14 policy number and the expiration date.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
