                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, requiring a county designation on registration
     3     plate.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 1331(b) of Title 75, act of November 25,
     7  1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes, is amended to read:
     9  § 1331.  Issuance of registration plates.

    11     (b)  Information on plate.--Every registration plate shall
    12  have displayed upon it the identifying numbers or letters
    13  assigned to the vehicle, the name of the Commonwealth, and the
    14  county of the owner, both of which may be abbreviated, and any
    15  other data the department may deem necessary.

    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
