AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," providing for a standard employment
6 application form for school districts for certain applicants.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known
10 as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding a
11 section to read:
12 Section 1204.1. Standard Employment Application.--(a) The
13 Secretary of Education in consultation with the Pennsylvania
14 Association of School Personnel Administrators (PASPA) and the
15 Pennsylvania School Board Association (PSBA) shall develop a
16 standard employment application form for use by those teacher
17 education graduates who have received provisional college
18 teaching certificates, in making application for employment with
19 school districts within this Commonwealth.
1 (b) The form shall be made available to approved colleges
2 and universities of teacher education. The form may be
3 duplicated by these institutions and distributed to graduates of
4 the institution seeking employment in school districts of this
5 Commonwealth.
6 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
