AN ACT
1 Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for review and update of
3 State, county and local flood maps.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 7701 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 7701. Duties concerning disaster prevention.

10 (h) Flood maps.--The agency shall review and update State,
11 county and local flood maps at least every ten years.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
