AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for permits to operate chemical
3 and fertilizer vehicles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4971 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 4971. Permit for operation of chemical and fertilizer
9 vehicles.
10 A permit may be issued for a period of 45 consecutive days
11 authorizing the operation in the Commonwealth of [any]:
12 (1) A vehicle registered in another state which is used
13 for the transportation and application of chemicals and
14 fertilizer.
15 (2) A vehicle exempt from registration under section
16 1302(13) (relating to vehicles exempt from registration)
17 which is used only for the transportation and application of
18 chemicals and fertilizer.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
