AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Health for sickle-
2 cell anemia services for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
3 2003.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Appropriation.
7 The sum of $95,000 is hereby appropriated to the Department
8 of Health for sickle-cell anemia services, including camps for
9 children with sickle cell anemia, for the fiscal year beginning
10 July 1, 2003.
11 Section 2. Construction.
12 The sum appropriated in section 1 shall be construed as a
13 supplement to the State appropriation to the Department of
14 Health for sickle-cell anemia services, including camps for
15 children with sickle cell anemia, set forth in section 215 of
1 the act of March 20, 2003 (P.L. , No.1A), known as the General
2 Appropriation Act of 2003.
3 Section 3. Effective date.
4 This act shall take effect July 1, 2003, or immediately,
5 whichever is later.
