AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 4, 1988 (P.L.1925, No.1A), entitled
2 "An act appropriating money from the Sunny Day Fund to the
3 Department of Commerce for various projects throughout this
4 Commonwealth for fiscal year 1987-1988," further providing
5 for the award and expenditure of funds for certain projects.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. Section 5 of the act of March 4, 1988 (P.L.1925,
9 No.1A), entitled "An act appropriating money from the Sunny Day
10 Fund to the Department of Commerce for various projects
11 throughout this Commonwealth for fiscal year 1987-1988," is
12 amended to read:
13 Section 5. [No] (a) Except as otherwise provided in
14 subsection (b), no funds under this act shall be awarded by the
15 Department of Commerce after June 30, 1989. Any funds from this
16 appropriation remaining unexpended or unencumbered on June 30,
17 1989, shall automatically lapse into the Sunny Day Fund.
18 (b) With regard to the projects authorized under section
19 2(1) and (2), no funds under this act shall be awarded by the
1 Department of Commerce after December 31, 1989. Any funds from
2 this appropriation for these two projects remaining unexpended
3 or unencumbered on June 30, 1990, shall automatically lapse into
4 the Sunny Day Fund.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
