AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the annual fee for a driver's
3 license.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1951 of Title 75, act of November 25,
7 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8 Statutes, is amended to read:
9 § 1951. Driver's license and learner's permit.
10 (a) Driver's license.--The annual fee for a driver's license
11 shall be $5 plus the cost of the photograph required in section
12 1510(a) (relating to issuance and content of driver's license).
13 (b) Reduced fee for armed forces members.--The annual fee
14 prescribed in subsection (a) shall be reduced to $2.50 for any
15 member of the armed forces of the United States who is serving
16 on Federal active duty, pursuant to Title 10 of the United
17 States Code for a period of more than six months plus the cost
18 of the required photograph.
1 [(b)] (c) Learner's permit.--The fee for a learner's permit
2 shall be $5.
3 [(c)] (d) Identification card.--The fee for an
4 identification card shall be $5.
5 [(d)] (e) Replacement license or card.--The fee for a
6 replacement driver's license or identification card shall be $5.
7 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
