| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, further providing for restricted |
3 | activities. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 1103 of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read: |
8 | § 1103. Restricted activities. |

10 | (k) Charter school board.--No public official shall serve on |
11 | the board of directors of a charter school, as that term is |
12 | defined in section 1703-A of the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, |
13 | No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949. |
14 | Section 2. The addition of 65 Pa.C.S. § 1103(k) shall not |
15 | apply to a public official serving on the board of directors of |
16 | a charter school on the effective date of this section for the |
17 | remainder of the public official's term of service on the board |
18 | of directors. |
