AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, adding a common pleas
3 judge in Northampton County.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 911(a) of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 911. Courts of common pleas.
9 (a) General rule.--There shall be one court of common pleas
10 for each judicial district of this Commonwealth consisting of
11 the following number of judges:

28 Section 2. The vacancy created by the new judgeship added by
29 section 1 shall be filled pursuant to 42 Pa.C.S. § 3135
