AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for annual registration fees.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 1911 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
7 § 1911. Annual registration fees.

9 (c) Fee waiver for volunteer firefighters.--The annual
10 registration fees specified in sections 1912 (relating to
11 passenger cars) and 1916 (relating to trucks and truck tractors)
12 shall be waived for any volunteer firefighter who has been a
13 volunteer firefighter in this Commonwealth for a period of at
14 least one year and who has not lapsed in service as a volunteer
15 firefighter for a period of not more than three months during
16 the preceding calendar year. The fee waiver shall apply to only
1 one vehicle registered in such volunteer firefighter's name per
2 year.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
