AN ACT
Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in administration and enforcement relating to
gaming, prohibiting certain financial interests in simulated
interactive games.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 4 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes
is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 1524. Prohibited financial interests in simulated interactive
games.
No licensed facility, principal, principal entity, key
employee or affiliate of a licensed facility may hold any
financial interest in an enterprise that offers, through the use
of communications technology, simulation of an interactive game,
including, but not limited to, any simulated gaming that would
otherwise be considered a nongambling game not requiring a
license under the laws of this Commonwealth.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
