AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for tire tread depth on school buses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 4552 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
7 § 4552. General requirements for school buses.

9 (i) Tire treads.--The depth of treads on all tires of a
10 school bus shall be at least four thirty-seconds of an inch.
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
