                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, extending burglary to include entering
     3     certain vehicles.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Subsection (a) of section 3502 of Title 18, act
     7  of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
     8  Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is amended to read:
     9  § 3502.  Burglary.
    10     (a)  Offense defined.--A person is guilty of burglary if he
    11  enters a building or occupied structure, or separately secured
    12  or occupied portion thereof, or a vehicle used in connection
    13  with a business activity with intent to commit a crime therein,
    14  unless the premises are at the time open to the public or the
    15  actor is licensed or privileged to enter.

    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
