AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for contents of traffic citation forms.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 6326.1. Traffic citation form contents.
8 In addition to all of the information required by law to be
9 contained on a traffic citation form, there shall be two blocks,
10 one to indicate whether the driver's license of the individual
11 was taken into custody by a police officer and the other to
12 indicate whether a registration plate was taken into custody by
13 a police officer. The citation form shall also provide an
14 appropriate block or space for the applicable driver's license
15 number or registration number.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
