                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of March 4, 1970 (P.L.128, No.49), entitled "An
     2     act granting to the Governor of the Commonwealth the sole
     3     authority for regulating the display of the flag of the
     4     United States from any public ground or building and from any
     5     ground or building of certain other institutions," requiring
     6     the display of the official POW/MIA flag.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9     Section 1.  The title of the act of March 4, 1970 (P.L.128,
    10  No.49), entitled "An act granting to the Governor of the
    11  Commonwealth the sole authority for regulating the display of
    12  the flag of the United States from any public ground or building
    13  and from any ground or building of certain other institutions,"
    14  is amended to read:
    15                               AN ACT
    16  Granting to the Governor of the Commonwealth the sole authority
    17     for regulating the display of the flag of the United States

     1     from any public ground or building and from any ground or
     2     building of certain other institutions[.]; and requiring the
     3     display of the official POW/MIA flag.
     4     Section 2.  Section 1(d) of the act, added February 10, 1994
     5  (P.L.70, No.5), is amended to read:
     6     Section 1.  * * *
     7     (d)  In addition to any other powers and duties imposed by
     8  this section, the Governor shall [permit] require the display of
     9  the official POW/MIA flag from the flagpoles of [any] all public
    10  [building or ground] buildings or grounds in this Commonwealth.
    11     Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
