                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for resident license and fee
     3     exemption.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 2706(c) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     8  § 2706.  Resident license and fee exemptions.

    10     (c)  Landowner antlerless deer license.--Eligible landowners
    11  who own 50 or more contiguous acres of land within any county
    12  where the landowners desire to hunt antlerless deer shall be
    13  entitled to obtain one antlerless deer license for that county,
    14  at the prescribed fee, issued to one and only one person whose
    15  name appears on the deed. These antlerless deer licenses and any
    16  antlerless deer bonus tags or other devices used for control of
    17  antlerless deer shall be allocated in advance of their


     1  availability to the general public from the quota established by
     2  the commission for the county where the land is situated to
     3  landowners who meet all of the following requirements:
     4         (1)  The 50 or more contiguous acres of land are owned by
     5     a natural person individually or as tenants by the entirety,
     6     or by a corporation of four or fewer shareholders, or by
     7     tenants in common of four or fewer natural persons.
     8         (2)  The 50 or more contiguous acres of land are open to
     9     public hunting and trapping and shall remain open to hunting
    10     and trapping during the hunting license year for which the
    11     antlerless deer license is issued.
    12         (3)  The applicant for an antlerless deer license shall
    13     furnish proof of ownership of 50 or more contiguous acres of
    14     land to the county treasurer within the county where the land
    15     is situated.

    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1995.
