A RESOLUTION 1 Opposing bigotry and racism and any hateful behavior or comments 2 of any public official in this Commonwealth. 3 WHEREAS, Bigotry and racism in any form must be condemned; 4 and 5 WHEREAS, Members of the House of Representatives know what is 6 right and for evil to prevail, only the silence of good people 7 is required; and 8 WHEREAS, Members of the House of Representatives know the 9 truth and will not be silent; therefore be it 10 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives unequivocally 11 state that hatred and bigotry created the environment which made 12 possible the enslavement of African people in America, as well 13 as racial violence against various ethnic groups; and be it
