                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Urging the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to conduct
     2     a public information campaign regarding driving procedures on
     3     approach of emergency vehicles.

     4     WHEREAS, There exists much confusion concerning what to do
     5  when an emergency vehicle approaches; and
     6     WHEREAS, Many licensed drivers do not know the various types
     7  of emergency vehicles in this Commonwealth; therefore be it
     8     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge the
     9  Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to conduct a public
    10  information campaign to inform the motoring public about the
    11  procedures required when an emergency vehicle approaches and to
    12  identify all vehicles designated as "emergency vehicles."
