A RESOLUTION
1 Designating the week of February 3, 1986, as "Pennsylvania Young
2 Farmers' Week."
3 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Young Farmers' Association was
4 organized through vocational agriculture programs in public
5 schools and is dedicated to the promotion and improvement of
6 farming; and
7 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Young Farmers' Association has
8 3,000 active members across the State of Pennsylvania; and
9 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Young Farmers' Association is an
10 active participant in agriculture as the Commonwealth's number
11 one industry; and
12 WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Young Farmers' Association serves
13 as a group to maintain and enhance the agricultural progress in
14 Pennsylvania for young farmers to exchange ideas, create
15 friendships and acquire valuable education and experience;
16 therefore be it
17 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
18 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania designate the week of February 3
1 through 8, 1986, in Pennsylvania as "Pennsylvania Young Farmers'
2 Week"; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge the Governor
4 to proclaim February 3 through 8, 1986, as "Pennsylvania Young
5 Farmers' Week."
