A RESOLUTION
1 Urging the Governor to proclaim May 25, 1983 as "Missing
2 Children's Day" in Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 WHEREAS, Missing and runaway children are a serious national
6 problem and concern for parents, children and all citizens; and
7 WHEREAS, President Reagan has designated May 25, 1983 as
8 "National Missing Children's Day"; therefore be it
9 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives hereby urge the
10 Governor to proclaim May 25, 1983 as "Missing Children's Day" in
11 Pennsylvania; and be it further
12 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be immediately
13 transmitted to His Excellency the Governor.
