AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing an additional offense
3 relating to the placement of materials onto the surface of a
4 roadway.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 2707 of Title 18, act of November 25,
8 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
9 Statutes, added December 6, 1972 (P.L.1482, No.334), is amended
10 to read:
11 § 2707. Propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle or
12 onto a roadway.
13 (a) Occupied vehicles.--Whoever intentionally throws, shoots
14 or propels a rock, stone, brick, or piece of iron, steel or
15 other like metal, or any deadly or dangerous missile, or fire
16 bomb, into a vehicle or instrumentality of public transportation
17 that is occupied by one or more persons commits a misdemeanor of
18 the first degree.
19 (b) Roadways.--Whoever intentionally throws, shoots, drops
1 or causes to be propelled any solid object from an overpass or
2 any other location adjacent to a roadway, onto or toward said
3 roadway, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree.
